How much does teeth whitening cost?

In-chair Zoom whitening is $599 (normally $732). The take-home kit is $350. Both are separate from our $245 new-patient check-up & clean.

How long does Zoom whitening take?

About 60 minutes in the chair, including protecting your gums, the whitening itself and aftercare advice.

How white will my teeth get?

Results vary from person to person. They depend on your natural tooth colour and the type of staining. We’ll talk through what’s realistic for your teeth before we start.

Will whitening make my teeth sensitive?

Some people feel temporary sensitivity. We protect your gums and use a desensitising gel with in-chair whitening, and the take-home kit includes a relief gel. If your teeth are already very sensitive, tell us first.

In-chair or take-home: which should I choose?

In-chair Zoom is done in one visit, so it suits you if you want it done quickly or have an event coming up. The take-home kit uses custom trays so you can whiten gradually at home. Not sure? Pick “Not sure yet” on the form and we’ll help you choose.

Will it whiten crowns, veneers or fillings?

No. Whitening works on natural teeth, so crowns, veneers and fillings stay their current colour. Let us know if you have any on your front teeth and we’ll talk through your options.

Can I use my health fund or pay it off?

We accept all health funds. What your fund pays towards whitening depends on your policy. We also offer Afterpay, humm (National Dental Plan) and smile.com.au, including 0% interest plans. Eligibility criteria apply.

Where are you, and is there parking?

Shop E, 142 Breakfast Creek Rd, Newstead QLD 4006, on the ground level of the Bunnings Newstead complex with entry via the Bunnings carpark. There’s 2 hours of free undercover parking, and bus stop 12 (Breakfast Creek Rd at Newstead House) is a 3-minute walk.
